  • These two delightful holiday cottages (sleeping 4 and 3 people), surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, are set high in the Shropshire Hills and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the surrounding hills and valleys. The holiday lets provide spacious and extremely comfortable self-catering accommodation allowing guests to relax and enjoy this remarkably peaceful location. Heron and Curlew holiday cottages retain many original features and are bursting with character – beamed ceilings, natural slate floors and exposed stone walls. Heron Cottage has a wood burning stove and Curlew Cottage has an electric stove. The self catering holiday lets are well equipped to the highest standard and your comfort is our number one priority. A very warm welcome awaits you.

    Walks From the Door

You can forget the car and walk straight from our garden to take in spectacular views from nearby Iron Age hill forts and stone circles and to tread in the footsteps of ancient drovers.

A leisurely half hour stroll will take you directly from the garden across the fields to Bromlow Callow where the views are spectacular, taking in the Stiperstones, the Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia. We also have a great selection of maps and walking books which you can borrow while you are staying with us.

The following circular walks all pass by Hope Park Farm:

Meadows & Mines, Coppice & Commons – A 7.5 mile circular walk through Stiperstones and Corndon Hill Country

Tranquility & Treetops at Bromlow Callow – A challenging four mile walk on grassland and quiet lanes, taking in Bromlow Callow and Castle Ring fort, taking around two to three hours.

Dormice & Archangels in Hope Valley – A leisurely four mile walk across farmland and through woodland with moderate climbs and descent and a short section along the main road taking two to three hours.

Myths & Mines on Stapely Hill – A challenging four mile walk on stone tracks, grassland and moorland taking around two hours, taking in Mitchell’s Fold stone circle and views across mid Wales.
